Services
Buying a cargo of fuel or steel is the easy part. Petrolity™'s value is in carrying the trade from source to discharge, under one contract and one point of responsibility.
Origination & supply
We source product from producers, refiners and storage operators we deal with directly, and match it to the buyer's specification, volume and delivery window. For recurring demand we build term programmes with nominated monthly volumes and a defined pricing mechanism.
Shipping & logistics
Chartering on the spot and time-charter markets, port and terminal coordination, agency, independent inspection and the full set of shipping documents. Where a buyer's port or depot has constraints — draft, berth availability, storage — we plan the delivery around them rather than around the vessel.
Trade finance
Letters of credit, prepayment, deferred-payment and receivables structures arranged with banks and credit insurers active on the route. We work with the buyer's bank where it can confirm, and bring our own relationships where it cannot.
Price & risk management
Energy contracts price against Platts, Argus or official selling prices; steel and cement against published mill and regional assessments. Exposure is hedged on the buyer's instruction so that the landed cost is fixed or capped before loading. Currency and freight exposure are managed in the same way.
Term supply programmes
For governments, utilities, distributors and large contractors, we design multi-year programmes around the buyer's receiving capacity — storage, port, road and rail — with nominated monthly volumes, a defined pricing mechanism and payment arrangements that fit the buyer's treasury, including escrow and offtake-backed structures.
Storage & distribution
Tank storage and break-bulk arrangements at regional hubs, so product can be positioned ahead of demand and called off in parcels the buyer can take.
Who we work with
Counterparties on both sides of the trade, each onboarded through the same compliance process.
Buyers
Refiners, national oil and gas companies, utilities and power producers, fuel distributors and marketers, contractors and building-materials distributors, rolling mills and grinding plants, and government procurement bodies.
Suppliers
Producers, refineries, steel and cement plants, quarries, storage operators and other trading houses with product to place on terms we can document and finance.
Partners
Shipowners and charterers, inspection companies, banks and credit insurers, port agents and terminal operators.
